Seo Ilyoung's dance journey commenced with the captivating genre of popping. His passion for dance ignited, and he soon found himself on the path of a dancer. Subsequently, he became a member of "Mover,” a group founded by contemporary dancer Seoljin Kim, and became an active participant in the contemporary dance realm. During this period, Seo Ilyoung received an enticing offer from the director of the Korean National Contemporary Dance Company, leading him to embark on a fulfilling journey as a dancer with the company.
Based in both Berlin and Seoul, Seo Ilyoung's artistic endeavors have crossed international boundaries, enabling him to partner with artists from diverse fields. This broadening of his impact extends well beyond the confines of street dance and contemporary dance communities. Currently, he channels his creative energy into dance that revolves around the nuances of human speech and actions.
